Products / Core Banking Engine

The banking core, built API-first for the agentic AI era.

A cloud-native ledger, account engine and integration layer that powers modern banks, neobanks and fintechs. Real-time, multi-entity, multi-currency, agent-callable — and ready to host governed AI workflows on day one.

Why CoreFi

A core that is also the system of record for AI agents.

Most cores were built for batch overnight processing and human-only access. The CoreFi engine was designed for real-time events, headless API consumption and AI agents that retrieve context, prepare actions and execute through controlled APIs — with the same permissions, policies and audit trails as any other operator.

It runs as the system of record for the bank: every account, balance, transaction, customer relationship, product configuration and reporting line is held here. Every channel — mobile app, web portal, partner journey, embedded finance product, copilot, agent — talks to the engine through the same API surface. There is one truth and one audit log, regardless of who or what made the call.

01

Cloud-native by architecture

Microservices that scale horizontally, with zero-downtime deployments and event-driven streams between every module. Run in our managed cloud, your private cloud or on-prem — the same engine, the same APIs.

02

API-first by contract

Every capability is a documented REST API with typed schemas, SDKs and webhooks. No screen-scraping, no exports, no shadow integrations. The same APIs serve the bank's app, its partners, its operators and its agents.

03

Multi-entity, multi-currency

Run multiple legal entities, brands, jurisdictions and currencies — fiat, digital assets, stablecoins — from one engine. Reporting, capital and risk views are entity-scoped; shared services are not duplicated.

04

Agent-native control plane

The engine ships with the permissioning, policy gates, approval flows and audit log that AI agents need to operate safely. Onboarding, credit, treasury, compliance and service workflows can be automated end-to-end without bypassing the core.

Architecture

One engine. Five layers. Every channel goes through the same gates.

CoreFi's engine separates the system of record from the channels that consume it. AI agents, partner apps and customer-facing experiences all sit above the same governed core.

Capabilities

The full banking back office, in one engine.

Account management

Individual, business and omnibus accounts, sub-accounts, virtual IBANs, multi-currency wallets and product configurations. Identity, KYC and KYB are first-class citizens — not a side integration.

Real-time ledger

Double-entry, event-sourced ledger with deterministic reconstruction, immutable history and real-time balance views. Every posting carries the originating workflow, channel and approval record.

Transaction processing

Real-time payments, transfers and settlements over SEPA, SWIFT and supported instant-payment schemes, with idempotent APIs, retries and end-to-end status events.

Product engine

Configure deposit, lending, card and wallet products as parameters, not code. New products go live in days; pricing, limits, fees and accruals are versioned and auditable.

Regulatory reporting

Transaction monitoring hooks, SAR/STR data extracts, supervisory reporting feeds and audit-ready compliance dashboards. Designed to plug into the bank's regulatory submission chain — not replace it.

Integration hub

Pre-built connectors to payment networks, KYC/AML vendors, identity providers, blockchain rails and reporting tools. Webhooks, events and a typed SDK keep custom integrations stable across upgrades.

Built for AI agents

Same engine. Now agent-native.

CoreFi does not bolt AI on top of a legacy core. The same APIs that power the mobile app and the operator console are exposed to agents through the agentic control plane — with stricter scopes, policy gates and human approvals where the rule says so.

Typed agent tools

Each capability is exposed as a typed tool that agents can call: open account, screen counterparty, post journal, prepare credit memo, draft SAR, release payment. Schemas, permissions and approval policy are co-located with the tool.

Permissioned context

Agents read what they are allowed to read — never the raw database. Customer records, transaction history and documents flow through the same access controls as a human operator, with consent and data-minimization rules enforced.

Audit by design

Every agent call is logged with model, prompt version, retrieved context, plan, policy decision, executed APIs and downstream effects. Regulators get one record per case, not a stitched audit trail.

Who runs CoreFi

One engine, three buyer journeys.

Banks modernizing the core

Run CoreFi alongside legacy, migrate one journey at a time — savings, cards, lending, onboarding — without a big-bang replacement. The engine becomes the new system of record as the legacy estate is retired.

Neobanks launching from scratch

Stand up a multi-currency, API-first bank in months. Accounts, payments, lending, cards and reporting on one engine, with white-label apps and embedded finance hooks ready out of the box.

Fintechs and lenders going regulated

Plug your origination, scoring and channel layer into a regulated core with the audit, ledger and reporting evidence that supervisors expect — without rebuilding banking infrastructure in-house.

European compliance foundation

Designed for the EU regulatory perimeter.

The engine is built around the European banking and digital-finance frameworks — GDPR, AML/KYC, DORA operational resilience, ECSPR for crowdfunding, MiCA-aware flows for digital assets — with audit trails, residency controls and supervisory reporting hooks as platform features. The licensed institution remains responsible for its own authorisations and ongoing compliance posture.
