Platform / Customer Onboarding

Onboard customers fast. Decide them clean.

CoreFi turns onboarding into a controlled funnel: identity, AML, documents, consent and risk scoring run in one flow. The Onboarding Agent prepares each case; the reviewer dashboard surfaces the decisions a human actually has to make. Conversion goes up; the audit trail stays intact.

See it in motion

Eight stages from "Start" to "Activated", in 1 minute 18.

Watch the Onboarding Agent run an applicant through identity, liveness, AML, documents, consent and risk — and a reviewer clear a PEP override on the structured risk packet — with one audit record per case.

Funnel at a glance

Intake to activation, with KYC checkpoints and policy-routed review.

The funnel narrows at each KYC checkpoint and at the human-review gate. The Onboarding Agent runs the workflow end-to-end and a human reviewer approves what policy requires; one append-only audit record is kept per case.

CoreFi onboarding funnel: labelled steps that group the detailed stages listed below into a left-to-right flow from intake to activated customer, with two KYC checkpoints and a human-review gate. 01 Intake (applicant arrives, case opened, consent captured), 02 Capture (ID, address, beneficial-ownership documents parsed to structured fields), 03 KYC verification (KYC checkpoint 1 — authoritative source, biometric match, liveness), 04 AML + sanctions + PEP screen (KYC checkpoint 2 — hits auto-route to review), 05 Risk score (segment fit, doc edge cases, structured review packet), 06 Review (human reviewer — high-risk segment, edge-case docs, sanctions hits — approve/reject/edit), 07 Activate (account opened on the core, products provisioned, case closed). The Onboarding Agent runs the funnel end-to-end; one append-only audit record is kept per case.
The funnel

Eight stages from first touch to a fully activated customer.

CoreFi runs each stage as a configurable step — per product, per segment, per jurisdiction — and writes one structured case record per applicant.

1. Identity (KYC). Document capture, biometric checks, liveness, ID validation and PEP/sanctions screens — through your chosen vendors or CoreFi defaults.
2. Business onboarding (KYB). Company verification, beneficial owner extraction, ownership-chain mapping and director screens.
3. AML & sanctions. Real-time screening on customers, counterparties and beneficial owners against watchlists; ongoing monitoring after activation.
4. Documents. Proof of address, income, business and supporting paperwork. Structured data extracted; missing items requested in one ask, not five.
5. Consent. Terms, privacy notices, data-processing and product-specific consents captured with timestamp, version and channel — exportable on request.
6. Risk scoring. Configurable risk model combines KYC, KYB, AML, document and behavioural signals. The Onboarding Agent drafts the structured risk packet.
7. Review queue. Reviewer dashboard surfaces only the cases policy says need a human: high-risk, edge-case documents, sanctions hits, KYB exceptions. Everything else clears automatically.
8. Activation & analytics. Approved customers move into the core: account opens, products provision, ongoing monitoring starts. Funnel analytics show conversion, drop-off and review times per stage.
Agent + reviewer

The agent prepares. The reviewer decides. Both leave the same audit trail.

Onboarding Agent

Reads the file, parses ID and corporate documents, extracts beneficial owners, runs sanctions and PEP screens, scores risk indicators and drafts the case packet for the queue. Reaches its own decisions only on clean files within policy thresholds.

Approval gate: any high-risk classification, edge-case document or sanctions hit routes to a human reviewer.

Reviewer dashboard

One queue, one case packet per applicant — evidence, screen results, agent recommendation, policy rationale and the action awaiting approval. Reviewers approve, reject or edit; every change writes back to the audit log and resumes the workflow.

Built for the reviewer, not the auditor — but the auditor gets every decision exported per case.

Capabilities

Everything onboarding needs in one place.

Configurable workflows

Build journeys per product, segment and jurisdiction — branching logic, review queues and human-in-the-loop checkpoints — without rebuilding the platform.

Document validation

AI-assisted validation of ID documents, proofs and supporting paperwork with structured data extraction and consistency checks against the rest of the case.

AML, KYC & KYB controls

Identity verification, AML and PEP screening, beneficial owner extraction and ongoing monitoring — embedded in the funnel, not bolted on after.

Funnel analytics

Conversion, drop-off and review-time metrics per stage, per segment and per channel — so the team fixes the right friction first.

Onboard customers on a governed funnel with an AI agent inside it.

We will walk you through a real KYC and KYB case — the Onboarding Agent's risk packet, the reviewer dashboard, the audit log — and map the funnel to your existing identity, AML and document stack.
